In View of God's Mercies

Tues. afternoon or evening (virtual groups)

We'll be studying the New Testament book of Romans using the study In View of God's Mercies by Courtney Doctor. Purchasing the book gives you digital access to the videos. The class format is that you watch a video on your own, then we'll discuss it together in Zoom. You may choose to join in for either 2:00-3:00pm or 7:00-8:00pm for group discussion.

Day, time: Tuesdays, Aug 29-Nov 14, groups at 2:00 or 7:00 pm

A Slower Walk with Jesus

Wed. evening

Have you ever wished you felt more confident reading the Bible for yourself? Would you like to know Jesus better? This course is designed for both. As we walk through the New Testament slowly and with helpful tools, we'll begin to know Jesus' heart with new depth. Our study will focus mostly on the gospels (the story of Jesus); also on the epistles (the letters to the early church).

Day, time: Wed. 6:30-8:00; Aug 30 – Nov 15

The Women of the Bible Speak

Wed. evening

Women's small group/book club. This Fall, we'll be going through the book The Women of the Bible Speak. There will be a portion of the book for you to read each week, and we'll discuss it together during our meeting time.

Group size is limited.

When You Pray

Wed. evening

This book, written by six women Bible study authors, will teach you that God welcomes your praise and lament, your thanksgiving and intercession. You'll see examples of how to pray when you're alone and when you're gathered with others. Above all, you'll notice there's no one right way to pray.

Group size is limited to 10.

Romans

Thurs. morning

This year we'll be going through the New Testament book of Romans. It's a deep book full of rich insights into the Gospel. We'll be using the study guide on Romans from the Life Change Bible Study Series, with additional teaching from Pastor Naomi.
