Ben Griffis, Recovery & Connections Pastor
My wife, Lauren, and I both grew up at Hope. It's been our home and our church for over 25 years. As we’ve grown, we've seen how the Lord has used Hope to bring people closer to Jesus. We caught this vision and both began serving and investing in the body as interns with the youth group around 2014.
In 2015 I was asked to come on part time to support the High School ministry in worship and programs. I served here part time while finishing my bachelors at Wichita State. Upon graduating I took over the High School Student Pastor position in April of 2017 and served there until October of 2025.
In October of 2025 I moved into a role of pastoring and shepherding our Recovery ministries and Connecting people into smaller spaces here at Hope. God has been revealing to me a desire for all people to find healing, recovery, and a family here at Hope Community Church.
Lauren and I were married in May of 2016, we have 4 beautiful children - Adalynn, Judah, Marshall, and Annie!
